The two Biological Stations of the Catholic University of Chile are directed by CASEB scientists. In them, permanent research projects are carried out together with training activities for doctoral and postdoctoral associates.

Senda Darwin Biological Station, located in the northern part of Chiloe Island, is property of Senda Darwin Foundation, one of CASEB's partner institutions. Its objective is to facilitate scientific research, environmental education, and the application of knowledge for the conservation of Chilean temperate forests. There, numerous research projects are carried out and a permanent outreach program transfers scientific knowledge to local communities, including schoolchildren.
