  • In September 2003, Drs. Fabian Jaksic and Francisco Bozinovic formed part of an official delegation to Zagreb led by CONICYT’s President, Dr. Eric Goles, to draft a memorandum of understanding between Chile & Croatia’s science institutions within the context of the workshop "Croatia and Chile: Scientific Contact Days.” In October 2004, Drs. Fabian Jaksic and Francisco Bozinovic made a second official visit to Zagreb, to draft the schedule and program of the follow-up binational workshop, which took effect in Santiago during October 2005. This workshop was coordinated by Dr. Fabian Jaksic and occurred simultaneously with the visit of Croatia’s President Mr. Stjepan Mesic to Chile’s President Ricardo Lagos, who signed a cooperation protocol between their respective countries.   • During 2005, Drs. Juan Carlos Castilla, Fabian Jaksic, and Pablo Marquet were Members of the Coordinating Committee of the Study "Analysis and prospects of Chilean Science” appointed by the Chilean Academy of Sciences. Document.
