Vision
This Center is necessary because Chile’s biodiversity and ecosystems will continue receiving the impacts of economic growth. We will conduct advanced research on these aspects, within the framework of sustainable development.

Mission:
CASEB is a Center in advanced research and education dedicated to generate and transfer ecological knowledge relevant to understanding biodiversity from a functional and integrative perspective, in order to manage and conserve Chile’s biological patrimony for its sustainable development.
